About the position

The Clinical Liaison is responsible for evaluating patients and determining if they meet admissions criteria. This position must integrate company values into daily practice and is essential for the hospital's commitment to excellence in care. The role involves conducting pre-admission patient evaluations, maintaining a sales territory, and coordinating marketing and public relations activities. The Clinical Liaison will also participate in program development initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and infection prevention standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts proper pre-admission patient evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Maintains assigned sales territory.
  • Develops, implements, evaluates, and refines territory sales plans based upon data, trends, market needs, and facility needs.
  • Coordinates specific marketing and public relations activities such as conferences, exhibits, seminars/in-services, advertising, media relations, and government relations.
  • Effectively tracks sales activity, maintains client profiles, and ensures compliance with company’s standards.
  • Participates in program development initiatives as assigned.
  • Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Assesses the risks for safety and implements appropriate precautions.
  • Complies with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.
  • Maintains regular attendance in keeping with assigned work schedule.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years healthcare experience required.
  • Healthcare sales experience preferred.
  • Clinical licensure required (RN, RT, LVN, PT, OT, SLP preferred).
  • Must maintain valid, acceptable driving record, current driver’s license, and insurability.
