About The Position

The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is looking for a Clinical Master Level Trainer to join the Training department. This position will work closely with the Director of Training to respond to the growing training needs of MHCGM and community by helping to conceptualize, create, deliver, and maintain training for the purpose of professional development of behavioral health professionals throughout New England. Trainings and public speaking events may include in-person, virtual, or asynchronous events. These trainings will provide continuing education credits for professional re-licensure for nurses, social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapist, and other allied health professionals, so content and delivery must meet the standards of accreditation. This position will start as in office and transition to Hybrid.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical work experience
  • Organizational skills

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Fundamental computer skills
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology or a related field

  • LICSW, LCMHC, LMFT preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct established training offered by MHCGM to both internal and external students
  • Create audio and visual elements for On-Demand training courses for behavioral health
  • Research, conceptualize, and create novel trainings in behavioral health subject matters
  • Manage the administrative duties around training provided including vital record keeping
  • Provide external training to outside entities upon request.
  • Mentor in both Lifestyle Changes and Child Impact trainings/classes and act as a facilitator
  • Provide technical support for contracted trainings as needed
  • Serve on various boards: Behavioral Health Equity Workgroup, Staff Development Team
  • Performs other duties as assigned
