About The Position

What you will be doing: Plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and manage high-quality pharmaceutical care services for patients, clients, and staff. Represent the region and/or ministry on system, regional, and local committees. Organize and coordinate safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapy. Support the development, well-being, and education for pharmacy and non-pharmacy staff. Meet operational, productivity, and financial objectives. Coordinate investigational drug services. Promote medication safety through surveillance and education of pharmacy and non-pharmacy staff. Assist in budgeting and interact with human resources and talent development. Engage in succession planning and develop relationships with other leaders and caregivers at the ministry. Manage medication formulary, order-set standardization, and advance clinical pharmacy activities. Coordinate pharmacy's involvement as part of multidisciplinary teams and reduce clinical variation. Ensure regulatory compliance and implement new technologies and processes. Optimize purchasing and inventory management. Coordinate onboarding and continuing education for staff and non-pharmacy departments. Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) of one or more pharmacies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
  • Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire.
  • 2 years of Pharmacy experience in the applicable area.
  • 1 year of Management experience.
