About The Position

The Clinical Services Manager assists the Executive Director or designee to promote the NYAP mission, vision, and values while providing leadership to the multi-disciplinary team with clinical, case management, and paraprofessionals to provide all year-round team-based intensive community-based treatment that supports our Adult Behavioral Health and Transitional Housing Programs. The Clinical Services Manager will work together to advance the provision of adult clinical and behavioral health services with a focus on the growth of Assertive Community Services (ACT), Community Support Teams (CST), and Psychosocial Rehabilitation ( PSR) Programs. Requirements

Master’s degree in social work or related behavioral/human services
A valid independent license (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT).
Minimum of 3-5 years’ leadership experience in adult behavioral, substance use, and/or team-based services with training/supervisory experience.
Proven experience providing adult clinical and behavioral health services, including intensive team-based programs.
Willingness to work flexible and nontraditional hours serving individuals in the community.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers, as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal transportation
Good driving record
Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability

Responsibilities

Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission, values, and philosophies
Lead the application of evidence-informed service modalities in adult clinical and behavioral health service delivery.
Provide training to staff to align performance with Medicaid and other payor expectations.
Advocate on behalf of individuals in crisis and those in need of rehabilitation services, substance use, and individual and system advocacy.
Promote and assist the Executive Directors or designee in developing innovative, robust behavioral health and team-based services to better serve the individuals in the community.
Promote and assist the Executive Director or designee in developing training programs related to the professional growth and direct service professionals.
Assist and lead in the development of the behavioral health supports for adults in transitional housing with Serious Mental Illness, Serious Emotional Disorder, and Substance Use Disorders.
Lead and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Lead in the provision of case consultation, clinical supervision, and clinical oversight to team-based and rehabilitation programs.
Ensure that the team’s performance is in line with fee-for-service productivity expectations.
Assist in the submission of grant request proposals.
Develop a partnership with community stakeholders.
Responsible for the fiscal outcomes of the program in conjunction with the Program Director.
Lead in the provision of team-based services and rehabilitation programs in the community.
Present workshops and trainings at conferences on NYAP-relevant programs.
Function fluently in the usage of the electronic health record system and other required platforms as required by the grantor.
Assist in enhancing emergency response and crisis care services with community partners and stakeholders.
Support all staff in accomplishing monthly, quarterly, and annual productivity goals, including Medicaid revenue projection.
