About The Position

Recovery Works Healing Center is seeking a licensed Clinical Supervisor to join our team in a role centered on hands-on clinical oversight and staff development. Reporting to the Clinical Director, you will provide structured supervision and coaching to clinical staff delivering mental health and substance use disorder services in an outpatient setting. Day to day, you will be working closely with therapists and case management staff to maintain clinical quality, ensure documentation compliance, and support professional development across the team. This is a well-rounded role for a clinician who is ready to step into leadership while staying connected to clinical work.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a behavioral science field (counseling, social work, or a related discipline).
  • Active LISW or LPCC license in the state of Ohio, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Demonstrated experience in the oversight of clinical services.
  • Working knowledge of individual and group counseling therapeutic models.
  • Strong understanding of addiction treatment and evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to identify signs of withdrawal and apply clinical knowledge effectively.
  • Knowledge of workplace violence prevention and suicide and self-harm prevention protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Outpatient behavioral health or SUD treatment experience.
  • Familiarity with client rights frameworks under Ohio behavioral health law.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise clinical staff to ensure the delivery of ethical, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented therapeutic services.
  • Oversee assessments and individual, group, and family therapy to maintain clinical quality and integrity.
  • Provide structured supervision, coaching, and training to support staff professional development and reduce burnout and secondary trauma.
  • Oversee crisis intervention and case management to ensure client safety and continuity of care.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Ohio Administrative Code, and organizational standards.
  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and integrated treatment planning.
  • Conduct performance feedback and competency evaluations in alignment with HR best practices.
  • Monitor program fidelity to evidence-based practices, including trauma-informed care and relapse prevention.
