We will be filling multiple positions at Martin North Hospital, offering different shifts, days and schedules. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN, such as taking vital signs and weight, assisting patients with personal care, point of care testing, dressing changes, application of external monitoring devices and inserting urinary Foley Catheters. Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN. Assist with keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly. Complete an internal training program within two weeks of hire.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon or within new hire period
• Nursing students: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required prior to hire

Nice To Haves

• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience OR nursing student with at least one completed clinical rotation as part of an accredited Nursing School Program OR military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) OR additional education/training (e.g., mental health)
