This position has management responsibility for specific roles within a clinical study assigned to support the day-to-day operational project management of assigned trial(s). Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
• Directly related experience in clinical research 3-5 years required
• Prior Supervisory Experience 2-3 years preferred
• Capability of prioritizing multiple competing tasks and seek supervisory or administrative assistance when appropriate.
• Experience with Data Management systems and software Packages.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to supervise others.
• Ability to work independently and display initiative to introduce innovations to research study.
• Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and set deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for operational and budgetary management of multi-site clinical trials.
• Assists PI and Director, Clinical Trial Operations in development of protocol, informed consent, CRF’s and operations manuals.
• Responsible for submitting all deliverable reports for a trial to sponsor and appropriate regulatory agencies.
• Oversees submission of protocol to IRB and ensures timely responses to IRB comments.
• Supervises research assistants and coordinators assigned to study.
• Coordinate and respond to audits by study sponsors.
