About The Position

About this role: The candidate will be a member of the Corporate Debt Finance team with primary focus on origination and execution of CLO transactions. This role encompasses the following key responsibilities: Manage deal team and process for CLOs and other capital market transactions with a primary focus on Broadly Syndicated CLOs. Coordinate the CLO execution process with client, equity, rating agencies, syndicate, etc to drive the successful execution. Focus on the origination of CLO transactions through coverage of both asset managers and key market investors to drive CLO origination for the platform Work closely with SPG Syndicate on a broad coverage process for CLO managers to help ensure the broadest reach of client coverage Coordinate with internal parties across Leveraged Loan Sales and Trading, FIG, Markets SRMs, CLO Sales and Trading, etc to help drive origination activity across Broadly Syndicated CLOs Act as a primary relationship manager for key accounts

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in CLOs or leveraged credit.
  • Required licensing must be completed within 90 days of hire date
  • BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance or economics
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving landscape
  • Ability to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
  • In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer.
  • Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
