Role Summary As a member of our Cloud Infrastructure team, you will support the development and growth of our Azure and AWS environments. You’ll work closely with technical teams and external partners to evolve our cloud capabilities, automate processes, and ensure platform stability. This role is ideal for professionals with regulated‑industry experience who prioritize security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud administration or related IT infrastructure roles.
  • Hands-on experience with both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) platforms in production environments.
  • Cloud Platforms: Azure (VMs, VNets, Entra ID, Storage Accounts, Key Vault), AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, KMS).
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server Administration (2022+), Linux Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux).
  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS, EKS) familiarity.
  • Networking: VNets/VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, load balancers, VPN gateways. Experience with Azure Virtual WAN hubs and AWS Transit Gateway.
  • Comfortable working with MSP/CSP partners as needed.
  • Monitoring: Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, third-party tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS, including VMs, storage, networking, and cloud native services.
  • Support hybrid cloud connectivity using VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and SDN technologies.
  • Maintain secure architectures through network segmentation, identity and access management (Entra ID, AWS IAM), and hardened Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation, and Ansible, along with automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across Azure (Azure DevOps), GitHub Actions, and AWS (CodePipeline/CodeBuild).
  • Apply security best practices, encryption, access controls, and governance policies while supporting PCI DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, FFIEC, and SOX compliance.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to assess system performance and create proactive alerts for critical services.
  • Troubleshoot hybrid cloud connectivity issues and contribute to cost optimization through resource tuning and auto scaling.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including runbooks, SOPs, designs, and configuration standards.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and participate in change management and cloud related projects.
  • Implement and test backup and disaster recovery solutions to meet RTO/RPO targets and support ongoing business continuity initiatives.
