Requirements
- US Citizenship required (no dual citizens)
- DoD Interim Secret clearance
- Understanding of Databricks and Palantir Foundry capabilities.
- Ability to work on‑site or within commuting distance of San Antonio, Texas
- Experience working within AWS GovCloud or similar secure cloud environments.
Nice To Haves
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with Department of the Air Force cloud platforms such as Advana/War Data Platform, Platform One, and Envision.
- Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog.
- Experience supporting multi‑cloud architectures, self‑healing pipelines, and high‑availability environments.
Responsibilities
- Design cloud-based solutions for data storage, management, analytics, and multi‑cloud high‑availability environments centered on AWS GovCloud.
- Design solutions enabling remote access to dashboards and self‑service data exploration tools.
- Advise on optimization of cloud resource usage, data management, and data storage for structured and unstructured data (batch and streaming).
- Support improvements to access controls.
- Advise on deployment of custom applications into the environment.
- Advise data engineers and developers with designing and deploying self‑healing data pipelines and managing metadata repositories.
- Support client and delivery teams in deploying AI and automation capabilities.
