CGI Federal is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenShift environments, providing automation, configuration, deployment, and security focused cloud engineering for a large scale federal agency. This position is located in Baltimore, MD

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor's degree +7 years of relevant IT experience
  • Strong RHEL, Linux systems engineering, and cloud-native experience.
  • Expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, EKS, and containerization.
  • Proficiency with Ansible, AAP, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, and security standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting federal cloud modernization efforts.
  • Familiarity with hybrid-cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and deploy cloud services for IaaS/PaaS environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Configure and manage OpenShift/EKS clusters, namespaces, containers, and pipelines.
  • Develop Ansible/AAP and CloudFormation automation for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Manage IAM, networking (VPC/ELB/Firewalls), storage (S3/EBS/EFS), images, and patching.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and cloud security best practices.
  • Maintain documentation, CAPRS entries, and weekly progress reports.
