About The Position

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Cloud Network Security Engineer for an exciting job in Columbia, SC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Active AWS or Azure cloud certification
• 5–10 years of experience in information security and infrastructure engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure
• Strong experience with cloud security architecture, operations, and automation
• Proven ability to document security tools, configurations, and operational processes
• Candidates applying for this role must be eligible for getting security clearance whenever needed by the client.

Nice To Haves

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSA or PCNSE)
• 5+ years of experience deploying and managing Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls in AWS and Azure
• Experience with the following technologies: Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers / Firewalls, Infoblox, Forescout, Prisma Cloud

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures across AWS and Azure
• Architect VPC/VNet segmentation, routing, and connectivity using hub-and-spoke and transit network models
• Integrate on-premises networks with cloud environments using VPN, Direct Connect, and ExpressRoute
• Define and maintain network standards, reference architectures, and security guardrails
• Design and manage secure ingress/egress controls and east-west traffic inspection
• Implement network segmentation, microsegmentation, and Zero Trust security principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional delivery teams to support implementation and operational readiness
• Produce clear documentation, including security designs, deployment configurations, and incident reports
