About the position

In this role, you'll support mission-critical programs that enhance national security by automating complex workflows, enabling our customers to focus on higher-priority analysis and decision-making. You'll be part of a high-performing team that applies Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions. This position is based at a contractor facility and offers flexible work schedules. Telework opportunities may be available, subject to tasking requirements and customer approval.

Responsibilities

  • Support mission-critical programs that enhance national security by automating complex workflows.
  • Enable customers to focus on higher-priority analysis and decision-making.
  • Apply Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development and engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience.
  • A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.
  • Experience with full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Proficiency in Java (including Spring and JUnit frameworks).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (preferably using React or Vue.js).
  • Proficiency in JSON for data formatting and exchange.
  • Experience with ElasticSearch and the ELK stack for search and log aggregation.
  • Experience with Redis for in-memory data storage and caching.
  • Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platforms and services.
  • Version control experience using Git and GitLab.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
  • Shall possess at least one of the following Cloud Developer Certifications: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
