AEM is looking for a highly motivated Cloud Systems Administration Intern.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially with AWS services.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux and Windows).
- Good programming/scripting knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated, self-starter and with strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure
- Upgrade instances to the latest Linux OS version.
- Support automation tasks using scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, or Terraform).
- Participate in software updates, patching, and security compliance checks.
- Document system configurations and processes.
- Review some of AEM’s AWS EBS storage and identify opportunities for downsizing.
- Leverage AI technologies to help improve AEM’s AWS environments
