Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Web Applications Lead 100% Remote to drive the technical strategy and architecture for modern, cloud‑native web applications on AWS. This role is highly hands‑on and developer‑focused, supporting custom application development, micro-frontend patterns, and advanced visualization capabilities used in mission‑critical forecasting environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 10+ years of full‑stack web application architecture and development experience (including AWS environments)
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3
• Expertise with modern frontend frameworks such as React
• Experience with custom application development, micro-frontends, and modular architectures
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and cloud‑native backend services
• Strong knowledge of WebGL, Realtime rendering, and visualization frameworks such as D3.js
• US Citizenship

Nice To Haves

• Experience with geospatial or mapping technologies (Google Maps APIs, Open‑source mapping tools)
• Experience with AWS‑hosted web applications and cloud deployment strategies
• Experience using Generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, etc.)
• Knowledge of GenAI prompting best practices and reviewing AI‑generated content

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design of modern full‑stack applications on AWS
• Define standards for micro-frontends and modular application components
• Architect frontend and backend solutions using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Develop strategies for real‑time rendering, complex visualizations, and data‑intensive workflows
• Implement scalable patterns for processing large datasets using WebGL, D3.js, and related tools
• Establish API, cloud architecture, performance, and security standards
• Drive integration approaches across existing application ecosystems
• Partner with development and UX teams and provide technical guidance
• Build proof‑of‑concepts to evaluate emerging frameworks and visualization techniques
