About The Position
CMM Programmer Overview We are seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to develop and validate inspection programs for precision components in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on professional who can independently create, test, and optimize CMM programs while working closely with quality and production teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience programming CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with PC-DMIS and familiarity with Calypso software.
- Ability to independently develop and troubleshoot CMM programs.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection practices.
- Hands-on experience working with precision machined components.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CMM inspection programs for complex components.
- Program using industry-standard software including PC-DMIS and Calypso.
- Validate and prove out programs on the manufacturing floor to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
- Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to support inspection requirements and resolve measurement issues.
- Optimize inspection processes and ensure documentation meets quality standards.
