Position Summary: As a CMM Programmer, you will support all CMM programming and Vision System programming requirements of the facility in support of development, implementation, improvement and maintenance of SPC functions for production and quality systems. Assist in the development of inspection and testing plans, risk analysis and process validation to ensure the quality of new and modified products and processes in a CNC Manufacturing Environment. Adhere to industry best practices and performs duties in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in ASME Y14.5M, Dimensioning and Toleracing and blueprint reading
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Experience in a regulated environment required

Nice To Haves

  • ASQ CQT (Certified Quality Technician) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Designs effective and efficient inspection techniques for First Articles, Custom Gages, Investigations and Test Parts
  • Utilizes off-line, stand-alone systems and support ongoing CMM inspection and programming efforts
  • Audits systems, delivers reports, and assigns corrective actions derived from continuous improvement analysis
  • Writes inspection documentation for quality control, ensuring complete and accurate documents
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
