CMM Programmer Manitowoc Pattern and Machining 1445 Dufek Drive, Manitowoc, WI Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2 pm We’re looking for a Lead CMM Programmer who thrives on precision, takes pride in quality, and enjoys mentoring others. Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience
  • Strong PC-DMIS experience
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments

Responsibilities

  • Program, edit, and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS (with and without solid models)
  • Interpret GD&T and translate blueprints into accurate CMM programs
  • Perform first article inspections, final inspections, and production/vendor part inspections
  • Troubleshoot CMM hardware and PC-DMIS software issues
  • Train and mentor quality staff on programming and best practices
  • Develop and improve CMM fixtures
  • Create and maintain customer PPAP documentation
  • Recommend or improve sampling and inspection procedures
  • Develop and document standard work for the quality lab
  • Support customers during development, launch, and production
  • Assist production with finishing or corrective operations when needed
