The CMMS Integrator is responsible for ensuring the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) supports safe, compliant, and highly reliable operations within a food manufacturing environment. This role maintains CMMS integrity, standardizes maintenance processes, and ensures preventive and corrective maintenance activities align with food safety, regulatory, and operational requirements. The CMMS Integrator serves as the key link between Maintenance, Operations, Sanitation, Quality, Engineering, and IT—ensuring asset care processes and digital systems work together to protect food safety, maximize equipment uptime, and support continuous improvement across all plants. Establishing the asset hierarchy, developing standard inventory material coding is critical for an asset management system. Standard inventory material coding ensures consistent identification of spare parts and MRO materials across the different plants in an organization, resulting in reduction of duplicate and obsolete stock while optimizing inventory levels and spare parts strategy.
