About The Position

This engineering position is for a Process Engineering owner for CMP tools. The CMP Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining Chemical Mechanical Planarization processes used in semiconductor manufacturing. Key responsibilities include: Sustaining and improving equipment and process related metrics. Additional responsibilities include: Continually improving processes Developing & transferring new processes into production New tool start-ups Controlling film thicknesses and particle performance Setting up and maintaining specifications and other documentation Managing statistical process control charts. Analyzing and identifying process failure modes and integrating recommend changes.

Requirements

  • Requires an advanced degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing methods and techniques.
