About The Position

Bethany of the Northwest has been a non-profit icon of the healthcare industry in the Everett area for nearly 100 years. Bethany is seeking a passionate and motivated PRN CNA/NACs to join our staff pool team. Come join our family and find out what the “Heart of Bethany” is. Bethany of the Northwest offers competitive pay and much more. Our staff pool employees support our 4 facilities in Everett covering staff absences due to vacation or sick leave. They are able to pick up their shifts 4-6 weeks ahead as well as short notice. The only requirement we have is that you actively work a minimum of 2 shifts per month. Schedule: Shifts are 8 hour - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am, all days of the week. We provide skilled and sub-acute nursing and assisted living services designed to meet the physical, spiritual, social and psychological needs of elderly and disabled persons, many of which are vulnerable, low-income senior citizens that rely on Medicare/Medicaid for housing, food and medical services. The certified nursing assistant position provides quality nursing care to residents; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information; and assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of a Washington state-approved CNA certification training course and active Washington NAC license
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality
  • Up-to-date identification
  • Basic computer skills
