Key Responsibilities As a CNA Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for shaping our CNA program from the beginning, as well as delivering high-quality education and ensuring students are fully prepared to pass the state certification exam.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in North Carolina (NCBON compliant)
  • At least (2) years of experience as an RN
  • At least (1) year RN experience in long-term care facility services
  • Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Expert knowledge of nursing concepts and CNA curriculum
  • Ability to create an encouraging, structured learning environment
  • Patience and a calm, composed demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Classroom management and leadership abilities
  • Passion for education and student success
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
  • Strong problem-solving skills and responsiveness
  • Compassionate and committed to quality elder care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with teaching or supervising nurse aides, preferred course in teaching adults

Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, and manage the CNA training program, including classroom, laboratory, and clinical components
  • Coordinate clinical site approvals and maintain relationships with partner facilities
  • Ensure compliance with NCDHSR regulations
  • Recruit, orient, and evaluate program faculty
  • Designing engaging and effective teaching strategies
  • Monitoring student progress and performance
  • Plan and deliver faculty orientation and annual in-service training
  • Ensure the maintenance of training facilities, equipment, and supply inventories
  • Collaborating with the Director of Nursing to support program goals
