With our hands on program, we will give you the skills you need to become a successful CNA in the nursing field. We will guide you every step of the way! The relationships built between our employees and residents is one of a kind! Want to make a difference? Come join our Spanish Cove Family! Must be 18 or older OR a high school graduate. Class will begin Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 8:30am. (This is NOT a Paid Training Program.) Classes are Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday from 8:30am- 5:00pm, the program lasts four (4) weeks. In order to START the program, you must pay for the following: Background Check- $29.00 (Must be paid within 72 hours of accepting the "Student Offer") Fingerprinting- $10.00 (Must be cleared at least a week before class) Must be 18 or older OR a high school graduate. Background check & fingerprint must all be received & completed 1 WEEK PRIOR to the start date of the Program. If not, you will be removed from the program. Attendance is CRUCIAL because the program is 4 weeks. We do not allow absences. What Spanish Cove will provide: CNA Training course at NO COST to you. The learning equipment & materials needed for clinical. Pay for the CNA Test (When it is time for you to test)

Requirements

Must be 18 or older OR a high school graduate.
Background check & fingerprint must all be received & completed 1 WEEK PRIOR to the start date of the Program.
Attendance is CRUCIAL because the program is 4 weeks. We do not allow absences.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation.
Help with mobility around the facility or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
Plan and prepare meals.
Assist with physical therapy exercises.
Complete client’s shopping or accompanies them to do so successfully.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
