About The Position

Tri-Mation has a great opportunity for an experienced CNC and Lathe Machinist to join our team. In this position you'll support the Machining Department with development and implementation, prioritization of work and execution of projects delivered on-time while supplying accurate parts or specifications. You will support the assembly of custom industrial equipment, and adhere to the best practices, protocols, and sequence of work. Support troubleshooting during run-offs. You need to have a collaborative mindset and want to positively work as a team; you know how to work independently but also have self-awareness to ask for help when needed; you need to be hungry to learn and be proactive. Must haves: 1) Minimum of 3 years of CNC and lathe experience, preferably in automation; 2) Mastercam experience highly desired; 3) strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read a blueprint; 4) advanced math and precision measuring skills; 5) demonstrated problem-solving skills with independent judgement being crucial; 6) experience with assembly machines, automation and fixture designs. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • support machining department with development and implementation, prioritization of work and execution of projects delivered on time
  • set up and perform specialized tasks using standard and/or non-standard procedures using a wide range of machine tools
  • plan machining sequences and create part routings
  • determine tool offsets and load tooling into machinery at correct settings
  • select correct speeds and feeds, and maintain cutting tools
  • utilize precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications
  • assist in the trouble shooting and maintenance of machinery and programs in the integrated manufacturing area
  • Must be an active team player to support, accept responsibility and collaborate with the team; have effective skills in interpersonal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, empathy, and building relationships; and use independent judgment, creativity, and initiative.
