About The Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Maintenance Technician with strong experience in machine tool maintenance, troubleshooting, and alignment. This role combines technical expertise in CNC systems with hands-on machining knowledge, ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance and accuracy.

Requirements

5+ years of CNC machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong background in machine alignment, leveling, and geometric calibration.
Practical machining knowledge and ability to run CNC equipment for testing purposes.
Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., dial indicators, laser alignment systems, test indicators).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar control systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, including mills and lathes. Additional equipment includes dust collectors, saws, presses, balancers, and manual lathes.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Conduct machine alignment, leveling, and geometric accuracy checks using precision measuring tools.
Maintain and calibrate spindles, ball screws, linear guides, and other critical machine components.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and maintenance manuals.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
Keep detailed maintenance records and update maintenance schedules.
Support installation and commissioning of new CNC machines.
