About The Position

WHAT YOU’LL DO We make an extraordinary product. Some might say it defies gravity! As our CNC Machine Operator, you’ll be the one who creates these gravity-defying products. You’ll assemble machined parts into a sub-assembly state and inspect and back flywheels to be delivered for final assembly. You’ll ensure all products are crafted with the utmost quality by: Operating CNC equipment, which includes the following: Performing pre-operation inspections of pieces and parts or on the machines themselves Setting up the machine and parameters Inspecting all parts against standards using tooling and gauges Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Ensuring continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs Working closely with teammates in other departments Documenting actions by completing production and quality logs Maintaining information in computer databases WHEN YOU’LL WORK 1ST SHIFT: Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. 2ND SHIFT: Monday through Thursday from 3:30p.m. - 2:00a.m. (you will train on 1st shift for the first four weeks) 4TH SHIFT: Friday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Do you have a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to hustle in a fast-paced environment? Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Be mechanically inclined
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Possess conceptual, process improvement, functional, and technical skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Possess quality focus, sound judgment, and decision-making
  • Ability to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally
  • Stand or walk for extended periods (8–12-hour shifts) on concrete or other hard surfaces
  • Perform frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, reaching, and gripping
  • Use hands and fingers to handle small parts, operate tools or controls, and assemble products with precision
  • Visually inspect products for defects, labels, or measurements
  • Distinguish sounds such as machinery alarms, beeps, or spoken instructions in a noisy environment
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical and/or electrical background
  • Experience operating tooling and gauging equipment
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment (depth mics, snap mics, and temperature gauges)
