About The Position

Barrett Firearms is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Level 4 to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for independently setting up, maintaining, and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. About the Role Independently set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components to specification. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and inspection instructions to ensure accurate machining and quality standards are met. Apply advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) during machining and inspections. Make tool and work offset changes as needed to produce conforming parts and maintain quality requirements. Troubleshoot issues on CNC mills and lathes to minimize downtime and maintain efficient production. Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work area, and actively participate in training programs for skill development and career advancement, while performing other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational school certificate.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and its application in precision machining and inspection.
  • Advanced expertise in CNC machining principles and machine operation, including mills and lathes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality control and producing precision components to specification.
  • Maintain valid driver’s license.
  • Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.
