About The Position

This position is responsible for performing fabrication operations and activities involved in the production of equipment that is manufactured at the JCB North America.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • One year of experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
  • One year of experience operating Brake Press
  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Multitask while maintaining a sense of urgency
  • Flexibility with work activities
  • Ability to operate bending presses, lasers and various hand tools
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including but not limited to 12-hour shifts/7 days a week.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently and/or move up to 35lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to perform continuous, repetitious physical activities. These activities may involve fine movements or large motions.
  • Must be able to grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist.
  • Must be capable of keeping pace with current production speed.
  • Must be able to push/pull with reasonable force.
  • Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing
  • Two years of experience operating Brake Press
  • One year of fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Establish and operate sheet metal equipment under minimal supervision to fabricate as well as form products as per engineering drawings and parameters.
  • Perform loading and unloading of material by changing tools and select required machine programs.
  • Inspect and maintain press braking operative equipment for conformance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure to correct issues related to safety before performing operations.
  • Prioritize production runs to assure customer orders are concluded on time, maximize machine run time plus productivity.
  • Maintain and manage machine as well as tooling cleanliness and in good physical shape.
  • Inspects all manufactured parts following work in process inspection methods and ensure to accomplish engineering specifications.
  • Resolve quality as well as mechanical problems and repair minor issues along with equipment adjustments as required.
  • Perform from blueprints, engineering parameters as well as production schedules.
  • Ensure to setup sheet for accessible for part being established or complete.
  • Apply Problem Solving Tools and Techniques to assist Fabrications in the elimination of defects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
