CNC Machinist (3:00 pm- 11:30 pm) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up and operate CNC and/or manual milling machines to produce precision components. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations. Perform first article inspections and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.). Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy. Maintain required production and quality documentation. Follow AS9100 and company quality management system requirements. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Mandatory Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred). 3+ years of milling experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience preferred). Experience with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak) preferred. Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading. Proficiency with precision measurement tools. Ability to work with tight tolerances (±.0005” typical in aerospace). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Mandatory Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Must be capable to lift up to 40 lbs.
