About The Position

At Kurt Die Casting our employee experience and vertical-manufacturing facility set us apart. The CNC Operator I operates and adjusts semi-automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others. 1st Shift: 4:30 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Monday - Thursday.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings

Responsibilities

  • Adjusts and operates semi-automatic CNC machines with minimum supervision
  • Spot-checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications, using micrometers and precision dial gauges.
