Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of CNC machine experience.
Frequently required to stand, use hands to hold hand and power tools, finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear.
Work also requires the ability to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
Pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background checks are required.

Responsibilities

The CNC Operator is responsible for cutting and processing material by operation of CNC machines such as Saw/Drill Beam Line, Plasma Machine, and Burn Table according to project specifications.
Operate and program the Peddinghaus Advantage 2 Drill Line to cut, punch, and mark steel materials according to specifications
Produce quality parts in conformity to manufacturer’s guidelines and company policy
Document material cut lists and job details in Tekla software
Review project specifications to determine machine setup procedure, machine sequencing, and dimensions are accurate.
Verify measurements of cut material
Ensure safe working practices are followed; maintain a clean and organized workspace
Maintain equipment by greasing and oiling equipment daily
Willingness to cross train on other machines and provide assistance with other tasks as assigned
Work with minimal supervision
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and complete project requirements on time
