About The Position

CNC Press Brake Setup and Forming Technician Join our Greenwood, IN team in a temperature-controlled facility where every part you form makes a real impact. With 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift opportunities available, you’ll spend your day transforming flat sheet into precise components that match blueprint specs, using your craftsmanship and attention to detail. A Day in This Role Begin by reviewing blueprints and operation sheets to map out the forming steps and determine the correct tooling and sequence. Set up and operate the press brake to perform standard bends, large radii, and offsets with accuracy. Verify quality using inspection tools: calipers (dial and vernier), micrometers, squares, and height gauges—checking to AQL criteria and work instructions. Flag dimensional discrepancies right away to your supervisor or setup lead. Track all completed and scrapped parts to keep counts accurate and current. Complete production paperwork and enter required information into the company database. Keep tools, measuring devices, and equipment organized; maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year of related experience and/or training.
  • Comfort following written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions.
  • Math fluency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; unit conversions.
  • Strong blueprint and operation sheet interpretation skills.
  • Capability to set up and run a brake press and to input/maintain data in the Traverse Manufacturing System.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
