The Lead CNC Programmer / Machining Lead is responsible for leading machining operations from programming through production on the shop floor. This position serves as the technical leader for CNC programming, setup development, and process optimization while also supporting daily shop operations and acting as the lead point of contact in the absence of the Machining Supervisor. This role will oversee setups, ensure production readiness, support operators and setters, assist with material flow, and step in to organize workflow and staffing needs as required. The position plays a critical role in maintaining throughput, quality, and efficiency across the machining department, with a primary focus on Swiss lathes (Tornos), CNC lathes, and EDM equipment.
