Requirements

High school diploma and Completion of a State Registered Apprenticeship program required.
3–7 years of experience in CNC programming, machining, and CAD design (SolidWorks preferred)
1–2 years’ experience in a supervisory or lead role.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field a plus.
Experience in automotive tooling or thermoforming manufacturing preferred.
Expertise in SolidWorks CAD software for tooling design.
Strong knowledge of Tool & Die design, machining processes, and material properties.
Exceptional leadership, execution, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High emotional maturity, resilience, and adaptability to new technologies.
Ability to lift 10–50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a production environment.
Experience in Master CAM software for CNC programming preferred
MasterCam certification is highly preferred.
SolidWorks Professional or Associate certification (e.g., CSWP, CSWA).
Completion of HyperMill training courses (HyperMILL Training) preferred
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Responsibilities

Program 2D and 3D CNC machines using MasterCam CAM software.
Create and modify tooling designs using SolidWorks CAD software.
Execute machining operations with precision, ensuring part accuracy and meeting production deadlines.
Optimize machining and design processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Lead and schedule the CNC production team, prioritizing execution, safety, and quality.
Mentor apprentices through the state-registered apprenticeship program, providing hands-on training and feedback.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to align on priorities.
Drive innovation by adopting new machining and CAD technologies.
Ensure quality control and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
