About The Position

Responsibilities include operating a CNC controlled roller leveler, measuring material thickness, inspecting for defects, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring plates are within flatness tolerance, and profiles are legible post-leveling.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to use precision measuring devices micrometers, calipers etc.
• Knowledge of job set up.
• Hand /eye coordination.
• Computer knowledge.
• Operate forklift and crane.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Machining Experienced preferred

Responsibilities

• Understand how to use taper gauge / straight edge properly.
• Measure and document the thickness of the material to be leveled.
• Inspect plates for any issues.
• Set machine parameters for material to be leveled.
• Level plates using width tolerance to achieve 1/2 A6 tolerance.
• Notify supervisor of any plates that will not meet 1/2 A6 tolerance.
• Make sure customer information and/or profile lines are legible after leveling plates.
