About The Position

Job Summary: Setup and operate CNC swiss lathe machines to fabricate production parts. Reporting To: Shift Supervisor and/or Director of Operations Essential Job Functions Setup and operates CNC lathe machines. Make appropriate offsets and adjust tools. Read and interpret blueprints as needed. Properly use calipers, verniers, and thread gauges. Properly and safely load and unload machines. Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines. Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. Utilize and abide by all safety procedures. Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

Requirements

• Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbal and written
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with precision equipment and products
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years operating experience in CNC swiss lathe machining, Tsugami, Star, or Citizen machines
• Experience holding tight tolerances.
• Required to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods of time.
• Must be capable of lifting, pulling, pushing, or carrying up to 30 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Tech school training preferred.
