About The Position
CNG Plant Technician Ozinga Energy - Contract Position Going to various Ozinga sites in the area of Mokena, Illinois Role & Responsibilities: CNG Plant Technician Installation, maintenance, and repair of CNG and RNG fueling infrastructure, including compressors, storage systems, and dispensing equipment Operational support for CNG/RNG stations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Troubleshooting and diagnostics for CNG systems, including portable CNG compressor trailers used for fleet refueling Participation in RNG projects, such as biogas processing plants that convert manure digester gas into pipeline-quality RNG Collaboration with field teams to maintain uptime and efficiency of CNG/RNG stations. Work Environment Technicians work in field and plant settings, often at CNG/RNG fueling stations, processing plants, or during installation projects. The role requires familiarity with compressed natural gas systems, safety protocols, and alternative fuel technologies. As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: High School Diploma or educational equivalent. Demonstrate proficiency with computers and the use of office-oriented equipment and software. Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is $25.00 per hour.
