About The Position
The Role Are you a current undergraduate or graduate student looking for a 6 month co-op opportunity to work across diverse data sources (e.g., customer attributes, transactional history, digital activity, phone call recordings, research surveys, etc.) to uncover key patterns to drive strategic decisions? Are you ready to translate data into insights that drive business decisions? If yes, come join a world-class analytics and research team and work in agile way to help teams create the best customer experiences in the Financial Services industry. Join a Data Science team within the AI Center of Excellence focused on using AI to improve customer financial wellbeing. We combine advanced machine learning with deep financial planning expertise to build high impact systems for personalized engagement, opportunity detection, and tax efficient financial optimization. What You’ll Do Build, refine, and evaluate ML models for recommendations and financial insights. Support development of agentic AI systems that identify customer financial opportunities. Run experiments, conduct model diagnostics, and analyze performance. Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and financial planning specialists.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in CS, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Finance/FinTech, or similar
- Strong Python skills (pandas, NumPy, scikit learn )
- Solid understanding of core ML concepts
- Curiosity about financial planning and wealth management
Nice To Haves
- Experience with classical AI/ML and LLM prompt engineering
- Exposure to agentic AI or reasoning frameworks
- SQL and large dataset experience
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
