About The Position
Are you interested in an co-op opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in 6 month co-op opportunities at our site in Latham, NY. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. Conduct and perform test activities within a laboratory environment. Collaborate with design engineers by receiving instructions and offering constructive feedback. Document design inputs and outputs comprehensively. Assist and coordinate with vendors for prototype creation. Analyze and address issues pertaining to mechanical design, providing effective solutions as needed.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas of study: Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, design engineering or Electrical Engineering
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
- The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
