Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Maintained a 2.5 GPA or higher
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Hands‑on CAD modeling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned project(s) throughout the work term with a high level of independence and accountability.
Participate in development activities including hands‑on training, and exposure to Schaeffler’s engineering and manufacturing processes.
Assist with product design and development tasks within the Thermal Management department.
Perform design concept work and engineering calculations for thermal systems.
Create and prepare 3D models and component designs using CAD tools.
Collaborate with team members to support efficient workflow and project completion.
Attend departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing coolant and refrigerant system initiatives.
Conduct research on advanced thermal management technologies.
Support benchmarking activities and competitive analysis.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business needs.
