Requirements

Personal training and/or group fitness certifications from OTF preferred sources such as; ACSM, ACE, PTA, NASM, NCSA, AFFA, ISSA, or NFPT.
Degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology - with no current National Fitness Certification is acceptable. We will assist in certification process.
Group fitness experience and/or personal training experience preferred
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, body mechanics, and general fitness principles
Exercise technique, body mechanics, and general fitness principles
Capacity to train all fitness levels
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Project confidence and energy on a microphone
Flexible to work some morning, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed
Group fitness experience and/or personal training experience preferred
Must be able to safely lift and move up to 60 Lbs

Responsibilities

Build relationships with people in our community
Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
Build OTF attendance and retain current clientele
Energize and motivate clients to reach their personal fitness goals
Making sure members are using the correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general and being aware of what the competition is doing
Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
Ensure the safety of participants
Provide options for exercises to accommodate various skill levels
Attend regular studio meetings and ongoing education
Being a team player
Conduct studio tours and facilitate sales
Conduct inbound and outbound telephone inquiries/follow up calls/customer care calls
Facilitate booking intro sessions and on-boarding new members
Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness
AED/CPR certification
