About The Position

We are seeking a Coatings Inspector with a minimum NACE Level 2 or AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector certification for a long-term, full-time nested role. The ideal candidate will have a background in coatings and corrosion assessments, with additional fireproofing and rope access experience preferred. Requirements

• NACE Level 2 or AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector
• Valid TWIC Card
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass DOE/DOT DA testing (hair follicle drug screen)

Nice To Haves

• Fireproofing experience
• Rope Access Level 1 certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct coating and/or corrosion assessments of tanks, equipment, piping, and structural components using PK’s Intellispec software
• Perform quality assurance inspections at designated hold points during the blasting and coating process
• Document and report inspection findings to the facility Corrosion Engineer via Intellispec
• Assist facility corrosion engineer in future job scope development, verification and planning
• Provide technical support related to coating and fireproofing as needed
