COFFEE BAR ATTENDANT
About The Position
As a Coffee Bar Attendant at Gorsuch Ski Cafe & Coffee Bar, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by preparing and serving high-quality coffee and related beverages. Your primary focus will be to ensure that every guest receives prompt, friendly, and efficient service in a welcoming environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This role requires a passion for coffee, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting. Ultimately, your contribution will help foster customer loyalty and support the overall success of the coffee bar within the retail trade industry.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment operation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Legal eligibility to work in the location specified.

- Barista certification or formal training in coffee preparation.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations when requested.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, including washing utensils, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and process transactions promptly.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
