About The Position

Cimarron is seeking a Collaboration Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at either the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL or Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. Key Duties : Support the operation and maintenance of a large Microsoft Exchange 2016 and Microsoft 365 collaboration environment supporting the Missile Defense Agency. Perform daily operations and maintenance activities while assisting in the evaluation of future collaboration service needs and strategic direction. Interface with collaboration services customers and cross-functional IT teams to resolve issues and ensure mission requirements are met. Support Change, Incident, and Problem Management processes to maintain service availability, stability, and performance.

Requirements

Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
6 or more years of general, full-time work experience. May be reduced with completion of advanced education.
3 or more years of directly related experience.
Ability to support occasional evening shifts supporting system patching.
Strong troubleshooting skills with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 applications and services.
Experience configuring, operating, and maintaining Microsoft 365 environments.
Proficiency with scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell.
Solid understanding of Windows Server (2008/2016), Exchange (2010/2016), Lync/Skype for Business, BlackBerry Enterprise Server, TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory.
Ability to adapt to new situations and evolving technologies.
Demonstrated commitment to a collaborative team environment.
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to learn and implement new technologies.
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (ex., Security + with CE).

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware.
Experience with email journaling, archiving, and compliance solutions.
