FTE: 1.0_, Shift: Day_, Schedule: _M-F Position Summary The Licensed Integrated Mental Health Therapist-BHN is responsible for independently providing assessments, treatment/care planning and psychosocial therapy within a primary care clinic setting for a diverse population of preventative, acute care and chronic disease management patients. The incumbent uses a variety of theoretical treatment models and interventions and excellent communication skills to work within a primary care/chronic disease management team setting with limited supervision; documents treatment/communication in keeping with department standards and keeps current on community resources to effectively provide linkage and advocacy to fulfill client’s needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • A Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724 one of these higher credentials are held: Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW)
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health setting
