About The Position

Collections & Customer Retention Specialist Help customers. Strengthen relationships. Drive results. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Collections & Retention Specialist to join our growing pest control team. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage accounts receivable while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer care. You'll play a key role in reducing past-due accounts, improving customer retention, and supporting overall branch success.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in collections, customer retention, or customer service
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Nice To Haves

• Pest control or service industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and collect on past-due customer accounts in a timely and professional manner
• Make outbound and receive inbound calls regarding billing, payments, and account status
• Work with customers to resolve payment issues, establish payment arrangements, and upsell services
• Identify opportunities to retain customers by addressing concerns and offering solutions
• Process payments and update customer account information accurately in the system
• Collaborate with branch staff to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Maintain detailed records of collection efforts and customer interactions
• Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Support overall accounts receivable goals and company initiatives
