We’re looking for a Collections/Risk Management Specialist Landings Credit Union, who brings empathy, curiosity, and problem-solving skills to every member interaction and wants to help people move forward with confidence. What You’ll Be Doing As a Collections/Risk Management Specialist, you’ll work directly with members to resolve delinquent accounts, provide education, and find solutions that work for both the member and the credit union. In this role, you will:

Requirements

Prior collection, lending or financial services experiece
Strong communication skills with the abaility to remain professional and compassionate
Positive, professional communication style — even in tough conversations
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to handle sensitive conversations with confidence and respect
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A genuine desire to help people and make a difference

Responsibilities

Contacting members regarding past-due loan accounts by phone, email, and mail
Working with members to understand their situation and offer appropriate repayment options
Educate members on their loans, payment options, and next steps
Keep accurate notes and documentation on all accounts
Stay compliant with policies, procedures, and regulations
Updating account notes and records thoroughly and accurately
Work closely with teammates and other departments to support member success
Monitoring delinquency trends and escalating accounts when necessary
