About The Position
We are looking for a Collections Specialist who is responsible for contacting customers with outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, and ensuring the timely collection of payments owed to our company, while adhering to legal guidelines.
Requirements
- 3+ year(s) of collections experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times
- Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
- High school diploma/GED
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and QuickBooks® a plus
Responsibilities
- Identifying overdue accounts.
- Contacting customers.
- Negotiating payment plans (when necessary).
- Handling customer inquiries.
- Skip tracing.
- Maintaining records.
