About The Position

The Collections & Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for supporting the full invoicing and collections cycle, ensuring timely and accurate billing, proactive follow-up, and effective resolution of outstanding receivables. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple systems and customer portals.

Requirements

  • Experience with AR systems, billing platforms, or ERP tools.
  • Proficiency with customer portals and invoice submission processes.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to resolve invoice discrepancies and troubleshoot issues.
  • Effective time management and ability to handle high-volume tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working independently.
  • Basic understanding of collections practices and compliance standards.
  • Reliable, organized, and adaptable to changing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and follow up on non–purchase order invoices, ensuring timely submission and resolution of outstanding items.
  • Utilize and maintain customer portals for invoicing, payment tracking, documentation uploads, and collections-related communication.
  • Submit invoices via email and customer portals, including making necessary corrections and resubmissions to ensure acceptance and timely processing.
  • Research and correct invoice discrepancies after issuance, collaborating with internal teams and customers to resolve issues.
  • Provide additional accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections support as needed to maintain accurate records and reduce aging balances.
