About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist who will generate, review, and process invoices accurately and promptly. The role requires ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory requirements. The specialist will reconcile billing discrepancies, resolve customer billing issues, maintain and update customer billing accounts and records, and prepare billing drafts for management review. Collaborating with internal departments such as Operations, Collections, Contracting/Budgeting, and Customer Service to resolve billing concerns is crucial.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of collections experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, preferably with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Great communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong attention to detail and goal-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of corporate collections experience with similar customer portfolios preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of Billing, Collections, and Accounts Receivable is a plus.
  • Experience with the person is a plus.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
